At least 19 of those killed were children. But it won't be affecting any Americans' daily commute, so it will not be mentioned again in tomorrow's news.
The blast left a 10-foot crater in the ground and damaged 10 homes in the Shiite Turkmen village of Qubbak, about six miles northeast of Tal Afar.

Good point, however a bomb going off in the middle east is unfortunately as much a daily occurance there, as a fender bender is here. An interstate bridge falling in the U.S. is unusual.
In the words of Homer Simpson, "Millions will be late!"
In the words of Jello Biafra, "Give me convenience or give me death."
and the fact is the only real thing the bridge going down is an inconvinence for us motorists. It is sad a few people died, but it is no 9/11. Newsworthy, yes for a day or two but seriously clean it up & build a new one. Yawn.
