Back to Rally

All three episodes of ESPN's anemic Rally America coverage are up on YouTube right now. Each race only gets a few minutes of airtime, but it's better than nothing. Enjoy them before the lawyers come to spoil everyone's fun.
ABC will broadcast the rally portion of X Games 13 live on Sunday. Hopefully there will be a little more meat. It will include the top drivers in All-Wheel-Drive Open Class and will consist of short super specials in a stadium, so it's not quite the same, but should be good for us rally starved Yanks.

Throughout the season I've really been watching bespectacled Oberlin College graduate, Matt Iorio. Lacking the wealth of DC Shoe magnate Ken Block, the fame of motocross superstar Travis Pastrana, or the backing of a major sponsor like Subaru, Jack Daniels or some crappy energy drink, this nerdy kid from Massachusetts has driven his old black and white GC coupe consistently all season and managed to make it to 5th in the overall points standing, although he has not yet had a podium finish this year.
