EMI releases its first album without copy protection | Guardian Unlimited

A hint of sanity?
(EMI) this week scrapped copy protection on all its digital tracks in a move that was immediately hailed by Apple chief executive Steve Jobs as 'the next big step forward in the digital music revolution'.
Because Steve Jobs is an expert on such things. Regardless, it's good to see a record company accepting the inevitability of piracy. Now if we could just get the government to accept the inevitability of the drug culture.
