Squeezing $554.27 out of a stone

We moved out of Wharfside Pointe back in... was that June? Damn!

I've been out of the old apartment for part of June, all of July, August, September, and half of October. And today, after dozens of phone calls, several emails, nasty words on every apartment review site I could find, and a confirmation snailmail from their corporate office to let me know the check had been cut and would be mailed later that week (3 months ago, WTF!?!?), I finally have my damage deposit refund check. It has not been an easy struggle, and by my figuring it should have been $220 more than I finally squeezed out them, but I'll take my victories where and as I can get them.
