Anarcists

The members of local anarcho-syndicalist coffee shop The Red & Black Cafe kicked out a cop. They felt a cop made their other customers uncomfortable and decided to ask him to leave. As business owners they have that right. Probably not the smartest thing they have ever done.

When the local news media decided to run with the story, the Red & Black collective held a train wreck news conference. I support them for standing up for their beliefs. The cops stand together as a whole in support of their own when accused of brutality and wrongful shootings. Bars ban gang 'colors' for similar circumstances. If the police officer had entered while not wearing his gang colors, to these folks a symbol of violence, they would not have asked him to leave. But their news conference, meant to clarify their stance and justify their actions, made them look bad. Let this be a lesson for all high schoolers to pay attention during speech class. Yes, you will need this skill later in life.

The hate mail started pouring in. What would any self respecting anarchist collective do in this situation? Get Yer Red & Black Hate Mail Spokecards! Now YOU can purchase laminated copies of ridiculous statements made by imbeciles.

I used to receive similar hate mail. Wish I would have thought to sell it. Best of luck to the anarcists on their latest capitalist venture.
