Tele to Go

Just so Mr. Bergström* doesn't have a monopoly on weird tales of eye modification through the use of contact lenses, which has been strictly his domain here on RE: up until now, I give you...
Keep an eye on the TV - with the TV in your contact lens

Channels could be changed by voice commands or a wave of the hand, says a report on the future of home entertainment.

Ian Pearson, a 'futurologist' who advises companies on new technologies, said of the TV contact lens: 'You will just pop it into your eye in the morning and take it out at the end of the day.'

Digital tattoos, meanwhile, will pick up on the emotions portrayed by actors in TV shows and create impulses allowing us to feel the same emotions.
No longer will you have to fake phone conversations in grocery store lines just to avoid actual human contact.

Where I work does not allow people to listen to music while working, not even if through a set of specially designed ear muffs that cancel out noise while pumping in music. How could they deal with people potentially watching television while working? I think such individuals would reveal themselves quite quickly through their lack of a full set of fingers.

*That's right. That is the only reason I posted it this. I am petty, shallow, and jealous of Mr. Bergström's ability to fish for news stories involving ocular modification.
