I had to look up Tatooine and Arrakis, spelling both wrong in my first attempt. If I'm not careful, I'm gonna lose my license to geek.
I remember when I fist heard that Lynch was asked to direct Jedi but declined in order to make Dune. Ewoks would have been a lot more interesting in a David Lynch film.
