120-day suspension

I held off commenting yesterday, as there was a rather strong chance that the media was so enamored with the inauguration that they'd just missed reporting whether or not he did anything substantial on his first day. I was pleased to find that a good first step was taken this morning.

Obama takes first step toward closing Guantanamo Bay
True to his word, President Barack Obama has taken the first step to closing the infamous prison at Guantanamo Bay, asking military prosecutors to suspend legal proceedings for 120 days.
What he does with it in the next 120 days remains to be seen, but this was definitely getting going on the right foot. Provided this isn't just adding false hope and 120 days to time served, it's a good first step. Thank you, Mr President.
