Some time ago I was shown another clip from this show. She said it was one of the freakiest things she had ever watched.
And this remix of clips put to another song is extremely disturbing.

a couple of things:
though it comes sort-of close, it doesn't top anything by sid & marty krofft for sheer batshit insanity. i don't think anything ever will (proud owner of the land of the lost box set).
that girl reminds me of the psychiatrist with purple hair that's giving alex the picture test in a clockwork orange.
the dude with the chin just disturbs me on so many levels. actually both of the guys do. i wonder if robbie rotten and sportacus argue about who gets more screen time with the little girl.
i find the contrast between the little girl's verses and the chin guy's verses quite effective.
Watching this made me want to cut my face off.
Seriously.
We're cutting off the dish next month, largely because we don't use it and want to save the money. But now I have new motivation. We'll never be able to stumble across this by accident...

I don't know if there is any such thing as a good children's show. As for LazyTown, we can at least appreciate the irony of a television show that encourages children to go outside and be active.
