Always say it with a smile. It both calms and frustrates the person.

Her: I just wanted to tell you about the problem with my machine.

Me: I'm pretty busy right now. It'll have to wait.

Her: But we're running low on parts and I just wanted to let you know...

Me: Do you know how many people in this world are starving to death at this very moment?

Her: What?

Me: Think about it. Thousands of people on the verge of dieing from starvation at this very moment. In comparison, your problems don't mean shit and they can wait until I'm done here. So chill, and I'll be over when I can.

Her: Well when you put it that way...

Me: Exactly.
