RNC Welcoming Committee

For those who haven't heard of the RNCWC, here's the scoop. They're a group of anti-authoritarians planning to disrupt this years Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota.

For just a moment there, they made me kinda wish I was living back in Minnesota. Then I remembered the mosquitos, and the snow storms, which, coincidentally, are 2 of the 3 things that would ever get me to wear anything over my face (the third is if it was required for a role in a play, film, or LARP).

Seriously, though, I hope they don't wear the bandannas at the actual event. It won't actually protect their identity if the police try to stop them, and it only increases the chance of things getting out of hand. I'm hoping it's just a cutesy thing for the video.

I'd go find out for certain, by visiting the RNC Welcoming Committee website, but it says:
"This account has been suspended.
Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources."
I'm sure that's not politically motivated. Not suspicious in the least, is it?
