Man, I just can't do anything right. I tried writing the craziest, silliest, stupidest conspiracy theory I could imagine, and somebody out there did it better. They even honestly mean theirs! They've even got the audacity to sell a 24-page booklet about it for $5.
Check out this bizarreness: Stephen King killed John Lennon. Worth a yuck.
I spent half an hour reading over their site, and it's ridiculous. His "evidence" is very dada-esque and arbitrary. He doesn't even mention the obvious parallels between the Lennon and Reagan shootings that any real conspiracy theorist would jump at - instead he claims Reagan ordered a hit on Lennon. If you were trying to make real conspiracy theorists seem stupid and crazy by association, that's a good way to go about your disinformation/smear campaign. Unfortunately, the same data also supports the conclusion that the guy is just stupid and crazy. His delusional insanity / raging stupidity / calculated disinformation (inspired genius that transcends our earthly concept of logic?) is terribly entertaining, though.
