The courage of the little guy

At one of his recent "town hall" symposiums (where people are allowed to ask McCain questions, provided they aren't carrying a sign that says "McCain = Bush"), McCain got asked a very difficult question.

At that event, a person, who's name is unknown to me, waited in line at the microphone, and asked McCain about his connections to Project for a New American Century.

PNAC is the think-tank that published a document in September 2000 that concluded:
"The process of transformation, even if it bring revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor."
PNAC's membership includes Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and Jeb Bush. McCain is a founding member of New Citizenship Project, the parent corporation of PNAC. As we all know, nearly exactly a year after publishing that document, PNAC got it's new Pearl Harbor that it was wishing for, and our country changed for the worse.

I don't know who the concerned citizen was that asked that question at that "town hall", but I'd like to salute his bravery. He didn't just ask about PNAC, he made the 9/11 connection, and quoted a statistic:
"according to a recent New York Times and CBS News poll, 84% of Americans believe that there were some criminal elements of our government involved in 9/11"
It takes a lot of courage to stand up at a microphone at a Republican Party event and ask the Republican nominee whether or not he took part in the murder of 3,000 Americans for political gain. Good for you, nameless hero at the microphone, America needs more citizens like you.
