Race is a terrible reason to vote against (or for) any candidate. A candidate should be chosen on the merits of their ideas and principles, on the programs they will institute, and the direction they will take the country. What makes you a good president has nothing to do with the color of your skin. The differences between the races of humanity are entirely physiological, and represent a tiny and trivial percentage of our DNA, yet some dumbfucks make such a huge deal about it.
EDIT: Here's another link about the stupid dumbshit buttonmakers at the Texas GOP Convention.
Update/EDIT: It's rare that I feel inclined to commend the Republicans for something they did, but this time they deserve some props:
The state GOP party said Wednesday that it will donate the $1,500 rent it collected from the vendor, Republicanmarket.com, to Midwestern flood victims.
"This vendor need not apply to another Texas GOP state convention," Klingler said. "We will neither tolerate nor profit from bigotry."

From my layman's knowledge of genetics, skin pigmentation is slightly less than irrelevant. But the human brain is a highly visually stimulated device, unless you are blind. As such a thing like skin color is MAJOR! Perhaps the blind select people with pleasing voices who don't smell bad, which would tend to exclude most of the racists I've met.
