A canceled flight doesn't always mean a refund - CNN.comBrilliant! I am going to start up a company where people pay me for services that I may or may not render. Up until now I thought doing so was against the law and would land me in court. I think it will be a lawn service. That way all of your neighbors can rave about how your new lawn care provider doesn't wake them up at ungodly hours. Which will increase word-of-mouth promotion. Which means more yards I get paid to maybe do something with.
The latest round of American Airlines flight cancellations has left tens of thousands of passengers searching for alternative ways to get to their destinations, but airlines are not required to compensate passengers for canceled flights.
