Oh, Hell no! Hell damn ass NO!
It's fucking snowing again! Below 2000 feet even! I thought that I'd left this six month long winter bullshit behind when I hopped that train out of Minnesota in fifteen years ago. Boreas, you sick horse-fucker, you are not getting any more sacrifices from me ever again.

Sun's coming out now. I really want to get my bike out this weekend. I'd like to get in good enough shape to do the Canfield Loop again this summer.
At this rate there'll still be snow on Chilco Mountain for the Solstice. I'd really like to spend the night up there this time and watch the sun come up.

The snow'll probably be on the peak up above the tree line. The camping spot is about a quarter mile down the trail in the trees on the ridge.
Open Google Earth and search for Chilco Mountain, then click on Geographic Web and check Panoramio to see the pictures that I posted from my last hike.
