 I just noticed that today is 10/20, 2010, and felt it deserved a posting of some sort. So here's  a video of I Palindrome I:



You know, I can't say that I'd ever completely understood the narrative of that song before. Despite having had a recording in my collection for years, I'd never really parsed that the main character in the song kills his mother for the inheritance money, and is then later killed by his own children for the inheritance money. I knew it had some morbid imagery, but I hadn't really thought through the subtext of it.  Very cool.
