While dealing with a couple of work place oil spills today (both easily contained and cleaned up in less than an hour) I realized Exxon has a lot to be thankful for. For over twenty years people have been using either their company name or the name of the tanker carrying for them when making jokes about all things excessively oily.
Exxon has been granted a reprieve by the ineptitudes of BP. Congratulations, you slightly less evil giant oil company.
