Death is typically a time when even if there is extreme hatred, people can tone it down a bit or at least keep respectfully quiet. Sometimes it just doesn't work out that way.

Islamic militants ridicule death of Bush cat

Islamic militants posted sarcastic comments on an extremist Web site Tuesday ridiculing a recent announcement by First Lady Laura Bush that the family's cat had died.

The online comments were unusual on the site that usually focuses on official statements by al-Qaida and other militants. Commentators, who must be registered members of the site, frequently post their opinions, but normally the topics are humorless.

So why am I only hearing about the Bush family pet dieing now? That was a week ago. I would have liked to have known sooner and then I could have beat the Muslims to the punch on this one.

Once again the American news media industry suppressed vital information leading to a pre-emptive Islamic attack. Did they just assume that Muslims don't have a sense of humor? I've been robbed!

Okay, did any of the radical Muslims make mention of the irony in Laura Bush announcing a dead pussy?
