Doomsday Averted Some More

I think Cern is going to need something a little more spectacular than a bake sale to come up with their funding.
BBC NEWS | Hadron Collider repairs cost £14m

Repairing the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) near Geneva will cost almost £14m ($21m) and 'realistically' take until at least next summer to start back up.
Which means I have to keep going to work for at least six more months while I wait for the LHC to reduce this planet to a singularity.

Get it together, Cern. There are people counting on you.
