Feigned Ignorance?

I read this article Friday morning, but didn't have the time then to track down the supporting links. It got under my skin enough to be worth a couple minutes today:
(CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama is bracing for the general election fight, and conservatives are likely to throw some jabs at his wife, Michelle Obama, as well.
"are likely"? That would imply it hasn't happened yet - and indeed, that's the lean the rest of the article takes - that such attacks are imminent, but haven't happened yet. Has it begun?
It has, according to this article on Politico.com about Cindy McCain's jab at Michelle Obama.
It has, according to this article on ABC about steps the Obama's have taken to fight back against such attacks.
It has, even according to this right wing blog that defends Cindy' McCain's various comments.
It has, according to this Huffington Post article about how Fox News claims the way Barack and Michelle shake hands somehow makes them terrorists.

That the Right-Wing has already begun attacking Michelle Obama is a pretty well documented story. Actually, it's several well documented stories. That CNN naively claimed it hadn't means they're either cowardly, ignorant, or biased.
