Alcohol Cuts Risk of Arthritis

This is good news! Arthritis is one of the few diseases for which I have a family history.
BBC NEWS | Health

The Karolinska Institute (Sweden) assessed 2,750 people in two studies, Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases reports.

The risk was up to 50% lower for those who drank the equivalent of five glasses of wine a week compared with those who drank the least, they found.
Now that I know how to reduce my risk of developing arthritis, I can live a longer happier life.

My great uncle was right when he told me the key to his age and demeanor. Whiskey all night and polka 'til dawn. Let's all get together and medicate Scandinavian style!

Ah the Polka runs deep in my German family as well. I want to hate the polka but I just can not stop from feeling upbeat and wanting to dance during an extended play of Beer Barrel Polka.
