A Halt to Excess Later!

Bush is going to call for something totally super amazing that he will provide no details about but can later claim total credit for. Via Reuters
"He'll set a national economy wide goal of stopping the growth of greenhouse gas emissions by 2025," said a senior White House official
Y'all catch that? He is calling for the stop of the growth in CO2 emmisions by 2025. I know a sure fire way to achieve that goal. Ramp up emissions to their maximum levels every single year prior to 2025. That way we can halt the growth of emmisions just by going back to what we were doing. Mr. Bush is brilliant enough to recognize what a super idea this truly is and will begin implementing it immediately

Sadly, 2025 may be too late to do much good. Methane released from the no-longer permafrost regions of Alaska is speeding up global warming in ways that weren't factored in to the climatological predictions made as recently as a year ago. (According to the show I saw on the discovery channel recently).
