Geography Test

I don't have the time to do this right now, but I'll let you know what my score is when I do. It looks like fun game.

Don't read Tasmania when they say Tanzania. It kinda had an impact on my score.

Also, accuracy counts for a lot more than speed. I played a second time and scored 30,000 more by taking my time.

146,307 (level 5) and 176,810 (level 6) in my two plays.

A third game got to 202,265. But now I have to stop, because there were like 6 repeats in that - in other words, it was less about geography and more about short-term memory.

Fun game, though. Thanks for sharing!

442,000-ish. level 10. Would have made level 11 if I hadn't confused Guyana with Guinea. Stupid mistake. I blame the aftereffects from the Kool-ade.

I'm impressed! Was that first try?

P.S.: Easter Island is aggravating. Kinda frustrating that knowing what ocean it's in isn't good enough.

When it came up the second time, I'd swear I was clicking in the same spot it had been before. While I got a lot closer, I still only scored like 100 points (out of 5,000+) for it.

If I ever play again, I'll have google maps open in the other tab, set to Easter Island.

Highlights in my three games:

Essen within 94 miles (it pays to be a boardgamer).

Rushmore within 21 miles.

The Louvre within 23 miles.

Worst disappointments:

Easter Island (both times)

Tasmania/Tanzania mix-up

Bahamas confused for something else with a "B" that eludes me now as much as it did at the time.

Kinshasa, DRC (It wasn't till they scored my last-second random click that I began to suspect "DRC" means "Democratic Republic of the Congo")

I did not even make it to level 2 my first try. Then on my second try I was very proud because I almost made it to level 2.

Geography is really my thing! Can we do long division and volume measurement of cones next.
