Visual Communication

Our appearance is a form of non-verbal communication. Just as the words we say can often be misinterpreted, so can the clothes we wear. Some people dress sloppily and others elegantly. I used to dress like a shout and have toned it down to a 'stage voice'. Have you ever tried dressing sarcastically? I believe the early stages of the recent hipster scene (which I thankfully see finally fading away) was an attempt at exactly that. A lot of people don't understand sarcasm all that well. Most latter day hipsters really didn't understand sarcasm.
