Him: I'm not much of a wine drinker. I've just never developed a taste for it.
Me: In my experience a lot to do with wine drinking has to do with what you eat with it. I've found a good white cheddar is excellent with merlot... I still have no clue what wine goes with hot dogs and mac and cheese.

If you ever want to have some fun with a bartender or wine "expert," start asking them things like, "What kind of wine goes with captain crunch?" or cheerios. If they ask you what kind, ask them for all varieties.
I did the same thing with whiskey for breakfast. My bartender kicks more ass than a barrel full of ass kicking monkies. Gave serious answers for everything.
I never tried any of it, but it's the thought that counts, right?
The answer is Boone's Farm apple, jeesh.
