Every so often I find out about a porn movie that isn't like the others. During the golden age of pornography, adult films were shot on film. Film was expensive. So if someone was going to spend the money to shoot an adult film they wanted a script, a real story, and actors who could pull off both compelling characters and hot sex. In the modern age people with home video equipment and a computer can shoot themselves having sex and set up a website for distribution. While porn quantity is at an all time high, porn that is of any sort of quality is scarce. Soon you learn that if you have seen one hotel room, you've seen 99.95% of all hotel rooms. You can always count on Jake for accuracy in reporting.Which is why you should see Pirates! This adult film is proof of how cheap special effects really are these days. Who would expect to see CGI skeleton fights and nicely rendered galleons in a porno? I've seen far worse in more mainstream films. The whole thing plays out more like a B movie with some bad acting and a lot of sex. Actually, not quite as much sex as I would have expected. The sex is the usual stuff, perhaps even a bit vanilla. No double penetrations or anal sex. Just good looking guys and gals getting it on... and good looking gals and gals doing likewise. And the story was as coherent as Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End. If you have ever enjoyed watching an adult film, this one is worth viewing.
And for once I didn't have to make up an excuse for wearing nothing but my pirate hat to bed.

It is also available on Netflix. That is were I was blessed with being able to rent it. Had I known is was more porn and less movie from the start I think I would have enjoyed it more. I kept trying to be entertained the whole time watching it.
