The 2008 Presidential Election is a year and a half away, and some polls show Ron Paul in the lead. There have already been several debates, and now Florida is moving up its Primary to January. For some reason, many pundits and bloggers claim that this is a bad thing.
I, on the other hand, think it's great. The more time these politicians spend campaigning, the less they can spend legislating. Besides, I'm not interested in the shameless sexcapades of entertainers. That's to be expected. Instead, I find rummaging through closets of those who presume to set the moral and legal standard for our society far more entertaining. Why should we only devote one year out of every four tearing these vacuous hypocrites down?
In fact, I think that we should not only think about the 2008 election, but 2012 as well. It's simply more efficient that way. Win or lose, many of the candidates will be back four years from now. It would be silly to shut down the campaign machinery only to start it back up two years later. That's why my running mate and I are simultaneously running for election in 2008 AND election/re-election in 2012.
So a note to any wannabe Drudges out there, if you ply me with enough cash or liquor I'll tell you every dirty secret that I know about Jake, and I trust that he will do the same for me.
Seriously, I'm broke and sober, and Jake has done some very sinful things.

If someone wants dirty little secrets about you there's going to have to be some greased palms. Preferably the palms of someone like French news anchor Melissa Theuriau.
