Hells Angels to organize a benefit party

In a fantastic stroke of synchronicity, after a lunch time discussion with another biker about the absence of the old outlaw biker club packs, what should appear in my news box but the good old Hells Angels? Not the actual Hells Angels but a news story about them.
Strapped for cash and under pressure from Dutch prosecutors, the Amsterdam chapter of the biker group Hells Angels is organizing a benefit party on Saturday, looking to raise money to pay for legal costs.
Leave it to a bunch of grizzled old bikers to state the obvious in a way that makes it so damn obvious that absolutely no one who should get it will get it and absolutely nothing will change.
"We are facing at the moment a battle we never had to fight before," the Hells Angels website read, asking for support: "Today they do it to us, tomorrow they do it to you."
Of course none of this would even be an issue if they hadn't decided to go legit as a motorcycle club. When you decide to seek the benefits of legitimacy, you must accept the burden of society's rules and often their whims. All they ever really wanted was to be free to ride their machines without being hassled by the man.

Of course stealing other peoples Harley's & chopping them, along with selling meth and the occaisional shootout with rival clubs does tend to get the "mans" attention.
