He's dead, already!

I was in a store yesterday, and they were playing nothing but his freakin' music, for the whole hour I was there. I'm so sick of all the freakin' news and freakin' websites freakin' focusing on a freakin' freak. I ain't even gonna say his freakin' name. Don't get me wrong, the freakin' guy had a few good songs, but he makes everyone on this blog look downright normal and mainstream... and that's freakin' sayin' freakin' something.

I mean seriously, a month ago you couldn't say his name without someone coughing "pedophile", and now people are all touchy-feely over him for a week and a half (and counting). What universe am I living in? Did the LHC rip open a gate between worlds again?

What the hell store do you shop at for an hour! I thought only women could spend an hour in any one given store?

I hope someone digs up his plastic bleached corpse and feds it to kangaroos. My favorite part are the people committing suicide because they just can not cope in a would without the Jackson disaster.

The "store" was actually a restaurant. I have a bad habit of using the term "store" more generically then I should - I pretty much use it to mean "any place that wants my money". Which most places do, the greedy bastards. :)

That said, I have a really long slow buying cycle. I read reviews, I read the package, I contemplate whether or not I real need the product, and whether or not this is the product that fills that need. I look it over, consider it, do another google search, check in again later, and if I still want it next week, I'll actually buy it.

So, yeah, an hour in a store ain't stretching it for me. Especially if it's a game store, where I'll find myself considering and comparing a dozen products.

Grocery shopping without a list not only takes me forever, it also ends up eating entire paychecks.

Strangely enough, I have zero patience for trying on clothes. I'd rather waste my money getting something the wrong size than try clothing on at the store.

Jeez! What did Ed McMahon do deserve your ire? And I didn't know he had recorded any music.
