Conformity and Conflict

All this term I've been seeing this book on the table as Krys does her homework. At first I thought the two images were supposed to represent the two topics of the title of the book.

Then I started to wonder which image represented which concept. Finally I decided that both images represent both concepts.

The previous edition's cover is a little more confusing. What the hell is this? Teen's dancing? It just doesn't have the boldness of the newer edition's cover.

But this eleventh edition's cover is awesome. It also seems to reinforce my earlier conclusion that both images are supposed to represent both concepts of the title. After all, it is Conformity and Conflict.

Now that I've shown my overly intorspective nature I will flaunt my stupidity by stating a conclusion I have now drawn without ever opening the book that sparked the thought.

Conformity causes conflict.
