Palin=Cheney

For the record:
The VP is not "in charge of" the Senate. The VP has a largely ceremonial role, and casts a tie-breaking vote. The senate doesn't take orders from the VP. The VP doesn't veto. The VP doesn't perform the tasks of the Senate Majority Leader. There's not incentive or reason for the Senate to work with the VP, since the VP can only impact them if the Senate gets hung up in a perfect 50-50 split. 51-49 means the VP has nothing to do.

It's rather disturbing that Palin doesn't know what the office she's running for does. Here she was admitting as much two months ago...

You catch that last bit? She wants to make sure the VP slot is "a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans". That's like a confession that she plans to send more pork to her friends back home. A bridge to nowhere in every pot!

Get this: Palin refuses to say whether she would be part of the Executive branch. She either doesn't know, or she has more sinister plans.

Reminds me of someone else who thinks the office of the Vice President is all about exerting power on behalf of their friends. Someone who thinks the VP office is not part of the Executive Branch, and thus somehow miraculously exempt from Constitutional checks and balances. Someone who threw all kinds of fat to Haliburton. Someone who actively worked to undermine our constitution and our democracy. Someone ELSE who abuses power to actively impede investigations into their own wrongdoing. If it's not clear, that person is Cheney. McCain = Bush, and Palin = Cheney. If they are elected, it will be 4 more years of corruption, 4 more years of war, 4 more years of recession-into-depression. Probably 4,000 more dead Americans in Iraq, too.
