It started off as a curiosity. A news headline stating that Brand quits BBC over prank calls. It seemed like a possible freedom of speech issue and that always excites me. I also wondered if it was something to do with a company pulling advertising. The headline could be read that way.
I read the story and find out that the radio presenter Russell Brand (not some product brand) made prank calls to former Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs. Fawlty Towers was a decent BritCom. So what were these prank calls about?
Apparently Brand made lewd comments about Sach's granddaughter, Georgina Baillie. Why would a radio presenter be making comments about an actor's granddaughter? I figured she must not be a complete nobody and there had to be something in her background that brought this about. So I searched her out.
Searches for Georgina Baillie gave me the stage name Voluptua. Now that sounds a bit enticing. Searched that and BINGO! Voluptua is a smoking hot 23 year old goth burlesque performer who is a member of the Satanic Sluts. She should move to Portland. She'd fit right in. And she has a MySpace page for further perusal by those as intrigued as myself.So a big thank you to Russell Brand for making a headline inducing mistake involving the lineage of an actor from a decent enough television show that I gave a shit and did my research and got to find out about Voluptua.
